I den tredje omgången i div 1 norra gästade IFK Luleå Örnsro IP för att försöka ta sina första poäng i seriespelet.

Matchen inleddes bäst för Luleå som hade mestadels av bollinnehavet och kommandot i matchen. Syrianska växte så småningom in i matchen ju längre in i halvleken dem kom och det skapades halvchanser åt båda håll. Fem minuter innan halvtidsvila fick hemmalaget frispark tilldömt några meter utanför Luleås straffområde. Tobias Nilsson klev fram och placerade snyggt in frisparken i målvaktens högra hörn, 1-0. Men det skulle bara dröja 3 minuter innan Assam i bortalaget kunde kvittera till 1-1 efter oreda och slarv i Syrianskas straffområde. 1-1 stod sig till halvtidsvila.

Den andra halvleken fortsatte med ställningskrig med halvchanser åt båda hållen. I den 60 minuten blev Ebrima Jaiteh tillsynes oförklarligt av domaren efter en märklig situation. Bara sju minuter senare får Johansson-Inga sitt andra gula efter en neddragning och åker även han ut. Tio mot tio och det fick dröja ända till den 72 matchminuten när Hernandez försökte sig på en dragning i straffområdet och blev neddragen av en Luleå-spelare. Domaren tvekade in en sekund och blåste genast straff. I vanlig ordning klev Linus Lamu fram för hemmalaget och slog säkert in straffen som innebar 2-1, i matchminut 72. I slutet av matchen riktade Syrianska in sig på försvarspel för att säkra dem tre poängen. Luleå skapade ett par heta lägen utan att lyckas få dit bollen och vinsten var ett faktum för hemmalaget.

Örebro Syrianska har nu plockat hela sju poäng på de tre inledande omgångarna vilket är en stark inledning av säsongen. Vi får hoppas att man fortsätter på den inslagna vägen kommande matcher.
